Vonnegut with wonky Alfred dahlias

When Cyclone Alfred cross our coast (well…almost), he brought strong winds and torrential rain. My prized dahlia flowers were so battered and heavy with rain, that they grew the most beautiful, gnarled stems. I just had to paint them! And of course, Vonnegut got to feature.
