What exactly is Live Wedding Painting?
A live wedding painter is an artist creating an original, one-of-a-kind painting of your wedding right there, on the day, in real time. Guests watch as each brushstroke captures the energy, emotion, and atmosphere of your celebration as it unfolds. It’s part performance, part fine art, part “how on earth is she doing that so fast?” The result is a tangible heirloom that doesn’t just show what your wedding looks like, it shows what your wedding feels like.
How a live wedding artist works:
Reserve your date
We’ll then schedule a brief consultation (online or in-person) to discuss your colour, style and size preferences and answer any questions you may have.
Choose your painting theme
I either capture a moment of you on your wedding day OR paint individual illustrations of your guests for them to take home as keepsakes (think wedding favours but classy)
I paint onsite
I arrive early, set up and quietly work away while as your day unfolds. Your guests (and you!) come and go, observing the artwork evolve in real time.
You receive your artwork
The painting is completed on-site but may be refined in the studio afterward. Either way, you’ll have a fine-art piece that tells the story of your day forever.
While guests awkwardly balance champagne glasses and you awkwardly avoid that aunt you don’t like, I’ll be quietly translating the laughter, the stolen glances, and the little moments that vanish too fast into a painting that lasts a lifetime.

Not all art materials are archival (proved to lasts 100+ years) and not all artists use archival materials. As a professional artist with an understanding of the science of paint products, I only use archival materials so your family heirlooms last for generations.
